i look at these and i would like one on my wall. i also see inspiration for a photoshoot. the grey face paint would be an interesting conversation from any angle.

have been filming in the wierd situation of S/S in A/W as is the faster than nature nature of the fashion industry. Spots and Polka dots are spreading from the catwalks like measles, so to allay my anixety ridden cold sweat nights “Am i on trend????” im just reminding myself. All hail to the “KIng of Vintage” – Vogue, William Banks Blainey who procured this 70′s Lanvin piece.
Been seeing this beauty Naomi Shimada out and about. She was skinny and now she aint, she is oh so present and now wearing Richard Sorger too.

As is the freelancers lot, on a rainy November day in a recession the world can feel like a bleak place. Luckily there are certain perks to knowing folks who have jobs, one being tagging along to private film screenings, lo get this though: a screening of a film by a woman i admire, about my favorite Beatle, in Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios. After eating as many of the canapes i could without looking like a student, life is no longer bleak but full of wonder and opportunity.
Nowhere Boy is out on Boxing day though a warning: I’ve never wanted to cry so early on in a film and then continue nearly throughout, that is when i wasn’t laughing or getting lost in big blue eyes. The film was heavy with sadness, knowing very loosely a similar story about Sam Taylor Wood’s own life it felt raw and pertinent. She was there to introduce the film, looking amazingly young and very happy skipping back to the outheld hand of her leading man Aaron Johnson, who is unspeakably mezmerising on screen, any woman would be in love with him.
